Like sand...

through the hour glass, so are the days of our lives. So, I was sitting there in the sand waiting to get a shot of the waves covering this really great, creepy branch when a man carrying his child walks by. I was just waiting for him to go by and was watching his footprints in the sand and smiled as to how easily he/we can make an impression on earth. sounds cheesy, yeah. but then i saw that two seconds later the next wave erased most of his footprints. long story short, i realized how quickly our lives fly by, as well as our footprints in the sand.
